DESCRIPTION:December is a hard month for little children. The anticipation of Santa’s visit on Christmas can be hard on the whole family. A celebration that is just for the kids with food\, games\, prizes\, desserts and even a visit from Santa should take the edge off the holiday craziness. \nThe Knights of Council #4620 are invited to bring their children\, grandchildren\, great-grandchildren\, nieces and nephews\, to the annual Children’s Christmas Party from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for some holiday fun  on Saturday\, December 6th in St. Mary’s  Hammes Hall. \nChildren ages 10 and under will receive a present from Santa. Children older than 10 are invited to have treats. \nTo reserve your family’s place at the biggest party of the year\, contact Grand Knight Dave Stephenson at the number below with the names and ages of your little ones as well as any adults that will be coming. \nIf you would like to help the party run smoothly\, call Dave. All the help would be appreciated!

DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED \nThe Knights of Columbus of the Cardinal Stritch Council #4620 and the St. Matthias Council #16945 invite all boys and girls ages 9 to 14 to participate in the local level of competition for the 2024 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held Saturday\, January 6th at 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the On The Square Sports Academy located at 105 N. Court Street in Crown Point.  \nParticipants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. \nThe Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually\, with winners progressing through local\, district\, and state competitions.  International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.  All boys and girls 9 to 14 years old are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions. \nAll contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. \nFor entry forms or additional information contact acting Youth Committee Director Dave Stephenson at 219-718-4818.
