DESCRIPTION:Our August social meeting will be our annual Installation of Officers for Cardinal Stritch Council #4620 on Tuesday\, August 20th at 6:30 p.m. This year’s installation will be held at the chapel of St. Anthony’s Assisted Living Center located at 205 W Franciscan Dr. in Crown Point. Our chaplain\, Fr. DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED \nThe Knights of Columbus of the Cardinal Stritch Council #4620 and the St. Matthias Council #16945 invite all boys and girls ages 9 to 14 to participate in the local level of competition for the 2024 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held Saturday\, January 6th at 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the On The Square Sports Academy located at 105 N. Court Street in Crown Point.  \nParticipants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. \nThe Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually\, with winners progressing through local\, district\, and state competitions.  International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions. The 1.8 mile procession kicks off at 1:00p.m. and will end approximately at 2:30p.m. with a short Eucharistic Adoration & Benediction when we arrive at St. Matthias Church. \nWalkers will be able to park at either church. Crown Point’s Molly The Trolley will also be transporting parishioners to and from both parishes from 11:45a.m. to 3:30p.m. \nIf you are able to participate in the Eucharistic Procession\, bring your own water. Restrooms will be available before the walk.
